The AP0100AT is a dedicated automotive image coprocessor that enables flexible camera platforms using ON Semiconductor's megapixel high dynamic range (HDR) sensors. The dual-chip solution for sensor and co-processor enables multiple camera price and performance points, enables board design re-use, fast time-to-market, and design flexibility. Sensor performance is improved by reducing the heat generated by a separate co-processor chip while enabling high-performance functions. The AP0100AT supports 185-degree fisheye distortion correction, perspective correction, and multi-view options such as split side view, triple mirror, and trailer hitch. This coprocessor combines ON Semiconductor's AR0132AT and AR0140AT HDR automotive sensors for NTSC/PAL backup cameras.
