The NC7SZ38 is a single 2-input NAND gate with open-drain output stage belonging to ON Semiconductor's TinyLogic UltraSpeed ​​family. The device is fabricated using advanced CMOS technology to achieve ultra-high speed and high output drive while maintaining low static power consumption over a very wide VCC operating range. The device is specified to operate from a VCC range of 1.65 to 5.5V. Input and output are high impedance when VCC is 0V. Input voltage tolerance up to 6V is independent of VCC operating voltage. The open-drain output stage withstands voltages up to 6V in the high-impedance state independent of VCC.

The VHC86 is an advanced high-speed CMOS quad dedicated OR gate fabricated in a silicon gate CMOS process. It achieves high-speed operation similar to an equivalent bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining CMOS low power consumption. An input protection circuit ensures that 0V to 7V is applied to the input pins regardless of the supply voltage. This device can be used as an interface between 5V system and 3V system and both power systems such as battery backup. This circuit prevents damage to the device due to mismatched supply and input voltages.
