The MC10EL/100EL32 is an integrated divide-by-2. Differential clock inputs and VBB allow differential, single-ended, or AC-coupled interfaces to the device. If the VBB output is used, it should be bypassed to ground with a 0.01 F capacitor. It should also be noted that VBB is only designed to be used as an input bias for the EL32, the VBB output has limited sinking and sourcing capabilities. The reset pin is asynchronous and active on the rising edge. On power up, the internal flip-flops will go into a random state; resetting allows multiple EL32s in a system to be synchronized. The 100 Series includes temperature compensation.
