FAN7081_GF085 is a high-side gate drive integrated circuit for high-voltage and high-speed driving of MOSFET or IGBT with a maximum operating voltage of 600V. ON Semiconductor's high-voltage process and common-mode interference suppression technology provide stable operation of the high-side driver under high dv/dt interference conditions. Advanced level shifting circuitry enables high side gate driver operation up to VS = -5V (typ) at VBS = 15V. Logic inputs are compatible with standard CMOS outputs. A UVLO circuit prevents fault operation when VCC and VBS are below specified threshold voltages. It uses space-saving SOIC-8 encapsulation. The output drivers have a minimum source and sink current capability of 250mA and 500mA respectively, suitable for magnetic and piezoelectric injectors and general purpose MOSFET/IGBT based high-side driver applications.
