FAN7602C is a green current mode PWM controller. It is especially suitable for offline adapter applications; DVDP, VCR, LCD monitor applications; and auxiliary power supplies. Internal high-voltage startup switching and Burst Mode operation reduce power loss in standby mode. Therefore, when the input line voltage is 265VAC and the load is 0.5W, the input power is less than 1W. Input power is less than 0.15W under no-load conditions. Using the power limit function, the maximum power can be controlled constantly regardless of changes in line voltage. The switching frequency is not fixed, with random frequency fluctuations. The FAN7602C includes various protection functions for system reliability, and an internal soft-start to prevent output voltage breakdown during start-up.
