The FSDM311A integrates a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) controller and SenseFET and is specifically designed for high-performance offline switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) with minimal external parts count. This device is an integrated high-voltage power switching regulator that combines a VDMOS SenseFET with a voltage-mode PWM control. The integrated PWM controller features include fixed oscillator, undervoltage (UVLO) protection, leading edge spacing (LEB), optimized gate on/off driver, high temperature shutdown (TSD) protection, temperature for loop compensation Compensated precision power sources and fault protection circuits. Compared to discrete MOSFET and controller or RCC switching converter solutions, the FSDM311A device reduces overall parts count, design size, and weight; while improving energy efficiency, productivity, and system reliability. This device provides the basic platform for designing a flyback converter.
